Our policy will center on the citizens who need state care, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev told at the opening of a new residential building constructed for visually impaired persons, AzVision.az reports.
In recent years, thousands of new apartments were built for the war veterans and the martyrs` family members, the president said.
`5200 martyrs` family members and war veterans were provided with new apartments and more than 5 thousand cars were presented them. It reflects our successful social policy.`
`I want all people with different disabilities to actively participate in social life. The government does its utmost for this purpose. But the community should also join this initiative. `
`Major reforms are carried out in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. The main reason of the reforms is to fully provide justice and solve the problems of the people living in need. `
`Besides, some people tried to get fake disability licenses. Such cases were completely eliminated through the implemented reforms. Of course, some state officials were dealing with indecent actions. That is why, such problems should be strictly controlled under the relevant rules`, he concluded.
